A real change
The behavior at home never held until something else moved first
He was the parent of a young daughter. He had explained it. He had rewarded the good days. He had applied the consequences when she was naughty. For a while each one seemed to land.
The behavior at home never held. His own temper kept arriving before he chose it, and the same situations escalated again and again.
What shifted at home did not come from a new rule for the child. It came when his own state stopped tipping into temper. From that steadier place, the same situations simply stopped escalating.
The home did not change when the child was managed differently. It changed when what ran inside the parent changed first.
