EP#15 | Getting High: Designing Life Around Peak Experiences, Mastery and Creativity

A boy with autism could not speak, could not communicate, could not understand language. His father worked with metal, hands worn and damaged from hard labor, and would sit and play the piano. Sometimes with wrong notes, sometimes out of rhythm. The boy would crawl under the piano and listen. Something in him absorbed what no one had taught him. Designing life around peak experiences, mastery and creativity is not about getting into flow occasionally. It is about building the architecture of a life where peak states are the starting point, not the reward. When that architecture is installed, mastery and creativity emerge naturally from who you have become.
