Antano spoke for 45 minutes, some children were in tears, ten EIS volunteers spent two days with a hundred students. The school got its 100% pass rate — for the first time in seven decades. And the ripple didn't stop there. It hit teachers, administration, the institution's entire culture. Mastering human communication is not about technique. The prerequisites — what Antano calls the foundations — are the internal states, the calibration, and the capacity for genuine connection that make every technique either alive or mechanical. When a practitioner has these prerequisites in place, their communication reaches beyond the surface of another person into the system that actually moves them. This is what makes 45 minutes with a student from an underprivileged background more powerful than 70 years of convention.
