Eleven Years of Shoulder Pain. Six Months of Surgery and Tests. Resolved in One 45-Minute Session.
He had shoulder pain for eleven years. She had elbow pain so severe she could not lift a pen, for six to seven months, through surgery and every test available. Nothing helped. Harini worked with her and the reframing happened. Three months later the pain was at one out of ten from a ten. Within weeks it was gone. These are not outlier cases. Antano and Harini describe a consistent pattern: when the unconscious state that is maintaining a physical symptom is updated, the symptom often resolves. The stress and the physical symptoms are connected, but not in the simple direction of reducing stress and watching the symptom fade. The connection runs through a pattern loop that sustains both. When the pattern updates, the loop breaks.

The things to take from this
001Physical symptoms that persist despite normal tests are often maintained by a pattern, not the original cause.
The elbow had been through surgery and comprehensive testing over six to seven months. Nothing was found. The pain continued at a ten out of ten, around the clock. The original cause was not identifiable by the tests. The pattern that was maintaining the pain signal was. Once the pattern was updated through a session with Harini, the pain began dropping and continued to resolve over the following weeks.
002The trigger, state, behavior, and confirmation loop sustains itself automatically.
A stressful environment produces a state. The state drives behavior. The behavior confirms the original trigger and strengthens it. This loop runs without conscious input. It does not require the person to decide to be stressed. It runs the same way a pattern always runs: automatically, below the level of deliberate choice. The physical symptoms are downstream of the state. They persist because the state persists. The state persists because the pattern loop maintains it.
003Blaming discipline is the wrong diagnosis for lifestyle change failure.
Doctors can predict from the data that a lifestyle change is necessary for a patient to survive the next decade. The patient knows this. They cannot make the shift. Calling this a discipline failure locates the problem in the person's character. The actual problem is in the unconscious pattern that makes the current behavior automatic. Change the pattern and the behavior becomes easy. The discipline framing has failed the patient. The pattern question has not been asked.
004The loop breaks at the state level, not the behavior level.
Addressing the behavior directly, trying to stop smoking through willpower, trying to reduce stress through management techniques, leaves the pattern loop intact. The trigger still fires. The state still follows. The behavior is suppressed at the surface but the loop underneath it continues running. When the state level is reached and the pattern that maintains it is updated, the loop has no origin point. The behavior changes because the state that was producing it has changed.
Part 01
The Shoulder Pain That Lasted Eleven Years
He described it plainly. Persistent shoulder pain, eleven years. This was not an injury that had been mismanaged or ignored.
It was a condition that had persisted despite whatever the medical system had offered over more than a decade. Eleven years is a long time to carry a physical symptom that the body has not resolved on its own and that treatment has not removed.
The elbow account is different in kind but similar in structure. The pain was 24 hours a day. At its worst she could not lift a pen.
She went through surgery and every test available. Six to seven months of the medical system's full response to the problem. Nothing helped.
Harini worked with her. The reframing happened. Three months later the pain was at one out of ten. She expected it to be completely gone within weeks.
What the field teaches
Chronic pain is a medical condition managed through treatment, pain management protocols, surgery where indicated, and lifestyle adjustment. When tests show nothing structurally wrong and surgery produces no improvement, the condition is often reclassified as psychosomatic or categorized under chronic pain syndromes with unclear etiology.
The patient is referred to pain management specialists. The unconscious pattern maintaining the pain signal is not part of the diagnostic conversation. The symptom is the object of treatment, not the pattern that is sustaining it.
These two cases, the eleven-year shoulder pain and the six-to-seven-month elbow condition, are both described in the same video and they share the same structural feature. The physical cause was not findable by testing. The medical treatment was not removing the symptom.
Something else was maintaining it. The session addressed that something else and the symptom resolved.
This is the account. Two specific people, two specific symptoms, specific timelines, and specific outcomes. The mechanism that connects the session to the resolution is the focus of the rest of this article.
Part 02
The Pattern Loop That Stress Runs On
One of the people in the video describes her office environment as very bad. She is always irritated and shouting. She is losing people from her team and absorbing more work from above.
This is a description of a stress state that has stabilized. It is not an acute reaction to a new situation. It is a chronic condition that has become the normal operating level.
A chronic stress state runs through a loop. A trigger in the environment fires. The trigger produces the state.
The state, activated, drives the behavior that is associated with it: the irritation, the reactivity, the muscle tension, the heightened vigilance. The behavior produces confirmation of the original trigger: yes, this situation is threatening, yes, this is an environment that requires constant defense.
The confirmation strengthens the trigger sensitivity. The next trigger requires less to activate the same state.
The physical symptoms are downstream of the state. Sustained muscle tension produces pain. Sustained stress-state activation changes hormonal patterns and immune function.
The person is not choosing to hold the tension. The tension is the output of a pattern loop that runs automatically. Telling them to relax addresses the behavior, the tension, without touching the loop that produces it.
The pattern, as a circuit. One trigger, and it runs the full loop on its own. A pattern runs from one source. That is why it returns no matter how much effort goes in at the surface.
Part 03
Why Stress Management Does Not Resolve Physical Symptoms
The distinction
Stress management techniques work at the behavior level. They address the visible output of the pattern loop: the tension, the reactivity, the sleep disruption. They do this by introducing a competing behavior, a relaxation response, a breathing pattern, a cognitive reframe applied at the conscious level.
The technique requires effort to apply. It works to the extent that the person applies it. When the person is many stressed and has the least resource to apply the technique, the technique is hardest to use. The pattern loop runs underneath it unchanged.
The break point in the diagram above is at the state level, where the pattern loop originates. Installation enters at the state level. When the state that is generating the loop is updated, the loop has no consistent starting point.
The trigger may still fire. The state that follows it is different. The behavior that follows the state is different.
The confirmation that the old behavior was producing does not accumulate. The loop does not sustain itself.
This is why the chain smoker's last cigarette was a precise date. July 4th. He did not describe a struggle after that date.
He named the date as the end point. The behavior stopped because the state that was producing it changed. He was not suppressing the urge with willpower.
The pattern that created the urge was updated. Without the urge, the behavior did not require suppression.
The physical symptoms follow the same logic. The shoulder pain and the elbow pain were not being sustained by a structural problem that persisted despite treatment. They were being sustained by a pattern.
When the pattern was reached and updated, the signal that had been running for eleven years and six months respectively began to resolve. The physical body was not the problem. The body was responding to a signal.
The signal was coming from a pattern. Updating the pattern changed the signal.
This distinction is the central one. Physical symptoms of stress are real. They are not imaginary or exaggerated.
The signal is real. What is worth examining is what is generating the signal. When the generator is a pattern that can be updated, updating it changes the output.
The symptom resolves not because the person decided to stop having it but because the pattern that was producing it is no longer running the same instruction.
Part 04
What Changes When the Pattern at the Root of Stress Updates
She described coming back to work after each session and finding herself tested. That is where you spend your time. That is where the pattern either holds or it does not.
She went back. People started asking what had changed in her. They could not name it.
They said something is very nice about you. This is the description of a state change visible to others before the person has narrated it. The pattern was running differently and people could observe the output before she had articulated what had shifted.
This is the operational test of genuine change. Not whether a person can describe what shifted in a session. Whether the people around them notice something different in the ordinary conditions of work and relationship.
She had been perceived in a particular way for a long time. The perception changed. The people making the observation had no information about what had happened.
They were responding to what they could see in her behavior and state. The pattern was running differently and its output was different.
The physical symptoms followed the same trajectory for the cases described. The resolution was not immediate in every case. The shoulder pain of eleven years required time.
The elbow pain dropped from ten to one over three months. The migraine resolved over two years. The direction was consistent.
Once the pattern at the state level was updated, the physical symptoms began to resolve. The timeline varied. The direction did not.

The video series shows the mechanism in full, including real accounts of physical symptom resolution following pattern shifts at the state level.
Surface work bounces. Advice, effort and willpower operate at the level of conscious thought, so they bounce off. The pattern runs one level below. Change it there, and the old loop has nothing left to run on.A × T = C™. Antano and Harini's formula: Adjustment times Time equals Consequences. Effort on the wrong adjustment barely moves the needle in decades. The right adjustment, made once at the source, compounds for years.

Pattern LoopThe self-reinforcing cycle in which a trigger produces a state, the state drives behavior, the behavior generates confirmation of the original trigger, and the confirmation strengthens the trigger for the next cycle. The loop runs automatically without requiring conscious input. Physical symptoms that persist despite normal test results are often maintained by a pattern loop at the state level. Breaking the loop requires reaching the state level, not addressing the behavior or the symptom directly.
StateThe level where unconscious patterns are held and where the pattern loop originates. The state is below the surface where behavior and physical symptoms are visible. Stress management techniques work at the behavior level. Installation works at the state level. When the state is updated, the behaviors and physical outputs that were downstream of it change without requiring conscious effort to maintain.
Unconscious EducationThe process of updating the patterning machine with information about what is currently true. A pain signal that was once protective can continue running years after the original injury has healed because the pattern was never updated with the fact that the protection is no longer needed. Unconscious education reaches the pattern at the level where it operates and provides the updated information. Once the pattern has the new information, it adjusts its output.
Questions people ask
How does stress cause physical pain?
The connection is not direct in the simple sense of stress causing pain the way a fall causes a bruise. Stress activates a state. The state drives physical outputs: muscle tension, hormonal changes, altered immune function. When the stress state is chronic, sustained by a pattern loop that keeps reactivating it, the physical outputs persist. The pain is not imaginary. It is the real output of a real state. The state is maintained by a pattern. When the pattern is updated, the state changes and the physical output changes with it.
Why doesn't stress management fix physical symptoms of stress?
Stress management techniques address the behavior level: the tension, the reactivity, the sleep disruption. They do not reach the state level where the pattern loop originates. The loop continues running underneath the management technique. When the technique requires conscious effort to apply, it competes with everything else demanding attention. Under high stress, the technique is hardest to use and the loop runs at full strength. Working at the state level removes the origin point of the loop. The behavior changes because the state that was producing it has changed.
Can chronic pain that has lasted years actually resolve?
The accounts in the video describe an eleven-year shoulder pain and a six-to-seven month elbow condition that had not responded to surgery or testing. After sessions with Antano and Harini, both began resolving. The elbow pain dropped from a ten to a one over three months. The direction was consistent in every case described. The timelines varied. Some resolved quickly. Some resolved over months. The key variable was whether the pattern at the state level that was maintaining the symptom was reached and updated.
What is the difference between addressing stress symptoms and addressing the pattern behind them?
Addressing stress symptoms means working at the level where the symptoms are visible: medication, relaxation techniques, behavioral change, lifestyle management. The pattern that is producing the symptoms continues running. The symptom management requires ongoing effort. Addressing the pattern means reaching the state level where the loop originates and updating what is running there. Once the pattern is updated, the symptom resolves without requiring ongoing management effort because its origin has changed.

The most important thing in my life right now is fit and healthy. To me, one of the most fascinating aspects of a person's wellbeing is how it impacts their health. I have a very bad environment in the office. I'm always irritated and shouting. I haven't been able to conceive, shown doctors, but the test reports are all correct. So there's no issue, but still, you know. Pressure from both sides, getting more work from here and plus losing people, nobody to do work. I had always had the complaint of migraine. Medicines don't affect much. Handled much more stresses than what I handle now. I've seen about 10 neurosurgeons across the world. This migraine is not going away. It's been 20 years with me. Subveical spondylosis is the sort of pain which happens in the neck. I would say three, four years. I have a persistent shoulder pain, which has been there for 11 years. So we're not medical doctors. We don't work on people's health. But what we do is we help people notice their unconscious patterns. And when we shift them, it has led in the past for some people to achieve significant difference in their overall wellbeing, including their health. From last up, I think I was very... There were a lot of other changes also that had happened in me. But I was very excited about this one change of being pregnant and conceiving and having a child. The whole thing was so beautiful and nice. It has been two years now. I have been coming here and I have not had that pain. Say, April 2019, the pain is not there. Not even the tiniest bit of it. The status of migraine, it is the third stage. The fourth stage is stroke. OK, so I am in the third stage of migraine. That's serious. The last two months, it has gone down. I had a physical health issue which was corrected at that point of time. And up, wheezing has gone. Then, a phobia of water has gone. Muscle sprain, the spasm is completely gone. The neck issue is completely gone. I am more calm and composed and chilled out. July 4th is the last day, I remember. I smoked. And after that, I have quit smoking. I was a chain smoker. I used to smoke about 30 cigarettes a day. There are often so many people who, you know, they are medically fit and everything is fine, but just aren't able to conceive even though everything is within parameters. They are doing all the right things. Suddenly, you realize that there was an unconscious objection. Maybe there was too much stress. And then you make those adjustments in their unconscious patterns and you start noticing, for some people, it has happened that they are able to conceive right after that. All my tests are all good, but haven't been able to conceive. One, one and a half year before I started to try, it was very stressful in terms of whether right now is not the right time to conceive because we cannot support a child. We are not stable in our life. So I think that was one of the major things which stopped us. And then month by month, my husband got a job. Still, I couldn't conceive. But even after that, for eight months, we were trying and it didn't happen. The important thing is a lot of times, it's kind of difficult for the person to self-evaluate and arrive at the conclusion of this is my mindset. If we could identify them and sort that out, and sorting it out takes very less time. You know, like I remember this lady we worked with, it was just a 45-minute session. And she had like an unconscious objection because she thought that her career would come to an end. But after the session, she realized that she came to the conclusion that, you know, in fact, her career is going to be enhanced because of the child she's going to have. And I think that was it. Within three months, she was able to conceive. Very comfortable with the family, even in a relationship with my husband and all is very nice. I have luckily got a very calm kid, which other people, which makes them feel that I'm a good parent, but he's just a good child. Sometimes I think the patterning machine in our head, which I like to call the unconscious, needs to be educated about simple facts. For example, some people we've worked with where they've had a fall when they were young and they had this back pain. And I think at that point, the back pain had a useful purpose, you know, it allowed them to recover because if they keep moving when they have a fracture, it's going to take a longer time to heal. But then many years later, even after 15, 20 years, for some people, what happens is that the back is recovered properly. This can show everything is fine, but they still continue to have the pain. And it's like as if their body has forgotten that that pain that was useful at that point is no longer relevant. And that's what I mean. But that's an example and analogy of what I mean by unconscious education. Sometimes you need to re-educate the unconscious mind about what is relevant for the moment. This pain in my elbow where sometimes I could not even lift a pen. And it was a persistent pain and it was ongoing 24 hours. And for about six, seven months, I had my surgery done and all kind of tests and everything. Nothing helped. Then Harini helped me and the reframing was done. And it's been three months. It happened in April and July. And on the scale of nine to, I mean, from one to ten, if it was ten that time, now it's hardly one. So it comes sometimes in a week or so. So I guess in a few months it will be completely gone. A big category of clients that we get are sort of people who are sent by doctors because the doctor is able to, using preventive medicine technologies, being able to predict that if that person doesn't change their lifestyle, something bad is probably going to happen. They're able to say these things now. And when doctors send these patients, what they tell us is that if we could help them make a change in their lifestyle, it's going to make a significant difference to how they live their life and how long they probably are going to live their life. And most people know the dangers, but they don't have the ability to make that shift. A lot of time we put it on discipline. We blame the person saying we are not disciplined. The person blames himself or herself saying they're not disciplined. But I think there's more going on. We are called humans are complex in nature. And part of what we do is understanding that if someone could do it, they would have done it. And if someone is unable to change their lifestyle, what unconscious patterns do we need to tweak so that they have the choice to make it easy and natural for them to have the new lifestyle so that they need to live and want to live. How did this happen? You know, there's this magic man called Antono. And he does something. And then you are a completely different person altogether. I want to convey my utmost gratitude to Antono and Harini. I really appreciate the kindness that you guys have to help others and the urge that you have to help others. Every time that I used to come to these sessions and go back to work, that is where you're tested the most because that is where you spend your time. My God, people used to be like, you know what? What has changed in you? We don't know. But something is very nice about you. Right? So that's a good thing, right? At least for people who have perceived you in a very different way for so long. And now things are changing for you in a positive way. You know, something was really changing inside me as a person. I have changed a lot in these few months. I've not evolved so much in so many years that have lived as much as it's been in this seven to eight months that I've changed so much, evolved so much. It's a beautiful way of upgrading a person. I think that was brilliant. Awesome. Life changed. Amazing.
